Q:I bought a bird of paradise in May but I think I might have overwatered it because it got mealy bugs and the leaves started to curl. I'm planning on getting another one. How can I know when I should water it and how much water to give it? Thank you!

A: Water it every 10 days to two weeks. Make sure the soil is not covering the branches, sometimes the soil level is higher than the roots and covers branches as well. If that is the case, remove some of the soil up on arrival.

Look at her now!

Bought this plant as my first houseplant and now over a year and a half later, she’s so big that I have to move her to a room with higher ceilings. The top leaves have touched the ceiling where she is and she’s inspired me to collect more house plants!

wilted dead leaves - died the day after delivery

Unfortunately my plant came not in a good quality - wilted dead leaves. And the next day it became even worst, I don't think it has a chance to survive. Seems like it's been already not fresh for a few days before delivery. Photos attached.

Happy Customer!

I just received this plant and I am ecstatic about it. It arrived in perfect condition! I bought it to replace the same plant that I've had over 10 yrs that grew 6ft, but seems to have gotten fungus, so I'm really happy to grow this one.

So far its beautiful!

Arrived in gorgeous shape. One leaf is a light green but the plant looks healthy and well taken care of. Its clean and didnt look to have any pests on it. Also well packaged.

What could I say? Just beautiful.

When it arrived it already had two leaves growing up. After three weeks? (approximately) the leaves have been fully bloomed. This plant is AMAZING! If you are looking for a plant that fits in your living place, I highly recommend Bird of Paradise! It brings so much peace to my family!
