I prefer Cree bulbs to most others on the market...
I prefer Cree bulbs to most others on the market today. For a small amount more money up front on the purchase end the lifespan of these bulbs doubles over that of most other brands. The 40 watt 3000K bulbs helped evenly light a 12-foot X 13-foot studio using an industrial 5-lamp semi flush ceiling mount light. They’re my go to bulb wherever I can use them at in my home.

Wattage equivalence seems a little low.
I replaced two (2) 40w equivalent Utilitechs with these Crees. The color range is a match, but they are noticeably dimmer. I am exchanging these for the 60w version which should be good for my application.

Outstanding light at just the right color temperature. I just wish the bulbs lasted longer. I installed 10 or so in my home 2 years ago and have replaced 3 so far. Not complaining, I mean I still come back and buy the same bulbs for the quality of light. Just don't expect to get 10 years out of them.

Put 20 of these n a two story entry chandelier...
Put 20 of these n a two story entry chandelier so they put out a LOT of light. Have a dimmer so can adjust as necessary. Happy with the 3000 K color. Tough to replace so hope they last as long as advertised.
