About This Product
DIG 100 ft. 1/2 in. with 0.700 OD dripline is extruded with 1 GPH pressure compensating (PC) drip emitters built into the interior wall of the dripline every 12 in. Each drip emitter continuously adjusts to varying incoming water pressure, ensuring a constant flow rate along the dripline. For commercial and residential applications, install this drip line above the ground and, if desired, cover it with mulch to blend with the landscape. The PC dripline is ideal for plants in preset spacing, narrow plantings and closely spaced plants in rows, as well as for hedges, groundcover, shrubs and roses. For complete coverage of an area, use multiple lines of dripline, placing the lines 16 in. to 24 in. apart. In addition, the dripline can be used around a house foundation to reduce soil movement, cracking and slab damage.

I hooked this line up to a zone in my rain bird system for my flower bed. The system has pressure regulators already but the line is squealing pretty bad. Is it still too much pressure? Not sure what regulators they are but don’t think they are adjustable
Hi JeremyP, if you're hearing a noise from the emitters that come pre-installed in the Earthline Brown PC 1-GPH Drip Line with 12in Spacing it means your pressure is most likely too high. This noise and/or vibration in the emitter only occurs when the silicone diaphragm inside the emitter is fluctuating due to higher pressures. We recommend 25psi for our Earthline Brown PC dripline, you can use model: D46 or D46P depending on the thread type. can this be used for a gravity system using a 50-gallon barrel that is 5 feet above ground
Hi Jeff: No, the Earthline PC dripline is not suitable for gravity flow barrel systems because the operating pressure will be too low. You will have only around 2 psi. if the barrel is 5 feet higher than the system. The Earthline needs a minimum of 10 psi to function properly. Do the holes easily clog from hard water deposits?
Hi Notsure: No, the emitters are self-flushing and resistant to clogging due to hard water. Make sure to install a good 155 mesh screen Y filter and a pressure regulator & the dripline will function well for many, many years. The product is covered by a 5-year warranty. I have multiple raised veggie beds with total of almost 100' of this line. About 5 years old. A number of emitters have failed and spray streams of water. I do have a 25psi pressure compensator at the beginning of the line. How to repair?
Hi Galactichitcher- The way to repair it is to cut out the faulty dripper and splice the two ends together with a compression coupling #C33. How to clean clogged emitters
Hello Raja, to clean clogged emitters it is best practice to flush the lines periodically. Secondly, we always recommend the use of filters on drip lines, micro sprayers, etc. If you do not have a filter installed on the system, I recommend installing a filter and trying to flush the lines by opening the end of the line and let the system run for 1 to 5 minutes. If the flush does not work, you may need to replace a section of dripline or install extra emitters on the line to replace the clogged emitters. Thank you!
