If you’re installing these in a firm soil, they might work. That was not the case with my soil and they did not work for my situation.

Not very sturdy and do not stay clipped onto the 1/4 inch drip line very well. Ok to use but a longer length and better clip end would be more useful.

Ridiculous Garbage
I couldnt have imagined feeling the need to weite a review about something as inane as micro-tubing emitter stakes, but people need to be warned. It would not have occured to me to check the reviews on such an item. I now see that there are years of reviews complaining about the same things- the clips do NOT stay hooked under the slightest movement, and the stales are ridiculously flimsy and cannot pierce even the most friable soil. This things represent everything wrong woth world market capitalism- companies making crap that fails to perform at even the most basic level sold cheaply enough that no one really cares. It’s a crime that HD continies to aell these.

These really don't hold the 1/4" tubing. The "hoop" at the top is not big enough to hold the tubing well. You can get the tubing into the hoop, but it pops out with the slightest movement.

    too soft and too short
These stakes are to short to hold very well, and so soft that they would bend when trying to stick them into the ground. I had to poke a hole with a screwdriver then stick them into that to get them into the ground without bending.

These tubing stakes do a good job! It’s nice to keep the 1/4” drip heads in place; altho it’d help if they were a bit heavier to to withstand a little wind or outside movement.

Would not stay on the tubing. I purchased 3 bags and will throw them in the trash unless I can figure out another use for them somehow.
