Q:I want to set up a drip system, but I am concerned about the hot water that comes out of the hose that?s been in the sun. I tried using a soaker hose, but the water is so hot,I?m afraid it?s going to burn the plants. Is there a way to overcome this issue?

Yes, I would recommend the kit, but the pictured blue hole punch has been replaced with a dinky teeny orange punch. Blink and you'll miss it in the package. Thankfully, a friend had a great punch tool that I borrowed.
No matter how much you plan out your garden, you're going to need more than this kit. Do some research before ordering and don't be like me.

Purchased 2 kits and both broke within 3 weeks
We bought two of these to set up in different areas of the yard. Within a few days one of the connections broke and started spraying high pressure water everywhere. We borrowed parts from the other kit to fix this and it has now broken again in the same way less than three weeks from install. We have contacted the manufacturer but they haven’t been much help.

System comes with everything you need to set up the irrigation system. It takes something complicated and makes it very simple. I only needed to add micro bubblers because I wanted my trees to be watered in a wider pattern. You can purchase additional items to custom your irrigation. I even have pots that I've added the irrigation and it works beautifully!

this product is VERY easy to install, first plan your project (just like a regular sprinkler job), the hole puncher is easy to work with, it took VERY little instructions on how to install, this is not rocket science.
I installed it on our new Vertical Garden that we installed over the Memorial Weekend, it has 140 plan holes, I filled them with Miracle grow .

This kit made it easy to set up automated watering...
This kit made it easy to set up automated watering directly to approximately 20 vegetable and herb plants in my 8' x 12' raised bed garden. I separately purchased a combination tubing cutter/hole punch, which made the task easier. A couple of holes punched in the larger tubing leaked and I was able to seal them with the "goof plugs" that come with the kit or can be easily purchased at Home Depot. I also needed to purchase quite a few extra drip heads and other parts, but these were also easily available at Home Depot. This setup is much more water efficient than my previous attempts to use a long soaker hose, which also watered spaces where there were no plants. And, this setup makes it easy to add plants later or to even cutoff drip heads in case a plant dies or is harvested. I already owned a DIG digital electronic hose bib timer, so I can easily adjust watering days, start times, and durations.
