We had about a foot of standing water in the back yard after the record snow-fall of winter 2019, all melting fast and starting to come in a basement window. This Duro-Max pump emptied it all in about 15 minutes!! It was amazing how well it worked.

I bought this for fire control. I burn brush near my pond and trees. I bought a hose kit with a 50' discharge hose. I have a 2 1/2" fire hose nozzle and an adapter to connect them. I also have 50' of 2 1/2" fire hose. This works great with plenty of pressure. My only complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it's quite difficult to get primed and running. I wish it had a one way check valve on the suction side. I'll see if I can purchase one. Overall I'm pleased and it works great for my need.
