  • Grade 1, first-quality ceramic tile for floor, wall, backsplash and countertop use

      Q:From other questions, daltile cascade ridge slate walla and floor tile cannot be used for the shower floor. Since the product is ceramic and not truly slate tile, why can the product not be used for the shower floor?

        Excellent solution for my new mud room
        Super solution for my new mud room. Really happy with the outcome and price. Tile is very heavy. Looks really great with the charcoal grout. It can chip a little when cut but that did not show once the grout went in. Feels very solid like it will last under the heavy traffic from my GSD.

          Poor quality control
          I know this is a cheap tile, but when i buy a stack of 8 in a box i expect to not have too many product defects. i bought 24 tiles, 5 of them had bumps on the tile surface which resulted in those spots not being coated in the black finish. 1 out of 24 might have been ok, i can find a place to hide it or make sure it's scrap, but 5 out of 24 was unacceptable... i had already started cutting pieces for a bathroom when i had opened the second and third boxes.. was able to swap them at store luckily

              Tiles do vary in size. So it is best...
              Tiles do vary in size. So it is best to do an offset pattern. My house is very old (120 years) so walls are not flay and would have required significant more work to level them. so I had to stack like regular tiles. Also I did find a lot of material that should not be in the tile like one had a nail in it!.. Luckily I was able to use this tile where I could cut off the section with the nail in it. Overall it still looks great
