what is the difference between the $72 valve rough in versus the $52 valve rough in DELTA

The $72 unit allows individual limit of hot/cold water volumes BEFORE entry into valve body. Great idea, don’t need flow limiting shower head which makes temp control imprecise. Less chance of scald with toilet flush too (your plumbing could affect this).

Is this shower body suitable for a bathtub with spout & hand held shower and a standard shower with hand held spray?

If you are wanting to use a non-diverting tub spout, you can use it with this valve, however, it would still need a diverter to divert water to the other components. We appreciate your inquiry. My installation includes 52841-SS 1.75 GPM Wall Shower Head and 51900-SS Handheld Shower Head 1.75 GPM. I will use T17T097-SS (Cassidy TempAssure Trim Kit). Can I use R10000-UNWSHF? Also which diverter/valve should I use? Thanks.

A matching Cassidy diverter for two shower features would be T11897-SSLHP diverter trim, H597SS handle, and R11000 diverter valve. Please reach out with any additional questions! How do you know when the screwdriver stop is fully opened to allow for full flow of the water? I'm worried that if it is turned too far counterclockwise, it will fall out and spew water. Thank you.

We're sorry for any inconvenience! Our valve bodies are sold separately from the trim to allow you to customize it to your installation. For example, you can purchase valves that are designed to connect specifically to pipes such as PEX or iron. The HF version of the valve does not have a tub spout port, so is perfect for shower-only setups (no plug needed).
