Q:What size hole does it punch 3mm? Do the fittings (1/4”) fit tight for no leaks?

A:  Our 16-035R pro punch does creates a 3 mm hole that will make a watertight seal around any of our barb connectors, drip emitters, or micro sprinklers/sprayers.

    A:  Our 16-035R deluxe hole punch is designed for ½ inch poly tubing with a max outside diameter of .710” unfortunately ¾ inch poly tubing (.940” OD) would have too large of an outside diameter for this hole punch.         A:  Have no idea but will open a hole big enough to install the drippers as it comes. I understand you can buy other sizes of pins to get bigger holes.

            A:  I am not exactly sure, I have only used the 1/4" punch, to connect the 1/4" lines to the 1/2" tubing & a select few on the 5/8" tubing, as well. To do the 5/8" tubing, just slide that little blue piece in the 1/2 circle area out, it will fit the 5/8" then.

                Not so great
                Started strong, for the first 5 holes and then wouldn’t punch all the way through the 1/2” tubing. If the tubing is soft or pliable after sitting in the sun it just doesn’t work. Better take a small pick tool with you.
