H Neo-Angle Shower Base and QWALL-4 Acrylic Corner Backwall Kit in White consists of 2 backwalls (side wall panels), 2 glass shelves and the base. This model does not have 4 backwalls. It is considered a QWALL-4 because of the 2 backwalls and 2 glass shelves. The backwalls are 1/8" thick acrylic and should be applied to a solid surface such as sheet rock, backer board, cement board, green board, etc. using Liquid Nails adhesive. can this be glued to basement cement walls
Asked by peewee May 21, 2019The base is designed to be installed to a bed of mortar. Typically, backer board is then installed and after that, the acrylic wall panels are installed. Without the backer board, the panel will kick out over the tile flange at the bottom of the base. We would recommend backer board and not direct to your basement wall. Is it possible to have this shower with a shower curtain rod?

Does this glue directly to walls or need to be framed in actual drywall?

Hello, what DreamLine enclosure fits this base?

The model number for those shower enclosures are as follows: Prism Plus (SHEN-2634340), Prism Lux (SHEN-2234340) and the Prism (SHEN-2134340). The model # for the Prism doors that would work are as follows: Prism (SHEN-2134340), Prism Plus (SHEN-2434340), and the Prism Lux (SHEN-2234340). It seems like you cannot buy a SlimLine 38x 38 base and 36"x36" glass/door AND get 38" Back Walls...
Asked by geoff August 10, 2018You can get the walls with the base as a kit and purchase the enclosure of your choice separately. The Acrylic Wall panels will need to be trimmed to fit. The model number for the base/wall kit in the 38" size is DL-6045C-01. If you already have the base and a version of the Prism shower enclosure, you are not out of luck. Your Home Depot representative will need to place an order for you and reference your original order when you purchased the base and enclosure.
