The SlimLine shower base incorporates a low profile design for a sleek modern look. The wall panels have a tile pattern and are easy to install with a trim-to-size fit. Q:Can this shower base be used, and water contained by a shower curtain? or should I choose a deeper shower base.

A: SlimLine shower bases feature a very low-profile low curb design, and they are designed and intended for use with a shower door. The standing area of the shower base is very shallow, so a shower curtain would not really drape very much inside the curb and it could leak. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Q:Do you need a special adhesive for the panels to stick to the wall?

A: Yes - you will need to use a specific adhesive type to glue the acrylic walls to your backer board. Most of these adhesives are commonly labeled as "tub surround" adhesive, but what you are basically looking for is a construction-grade adhesive that specifically states that it is safe for use on acrylic and ABS plastic. These products should be in stock at your local Home Depot store and a rep from the store should be able to help you locate them easily. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Q:Can this be plumbed on the opposite side? If you are looking into the shower, can the shower head and taps be mounted on the right?

A: There are not any pre-cut holes in the wall panels for plumbing fixtures, so you can put the plumbing fixtures wherever you like. Instructions for cutting holes for plumbing fixtures will be provided in the installation manual. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Shower pan is too shallow. No manufacture on the products!
