This tile is gorgeous. Before it's installed. I'm not sure why the color and look changes after it's installed, but it changes drastically. The back of the tile is painted white, and most of this glass tile is "clear" glass. So that's not the issue. I installed ours (for glass) from HomeDepot, so that's not the issue. I also used Bright White non-sanded grout. And still, it has changed from the lovely, white-clear glass tile to having an odd bluish color after install. I'm disappointed, but learning to accept it. I depend on reviews for all of my online purchases, so hoping this will help somebody else to know what to expect. Still a very nice tile - the design is awesome. Install and cutting on a wet saw went very well. I'm an experienced tile setter so that helped.

Hello Nancy - Thank you for your post. We always recommend using a white mortar when installing glass tile that you want to keep as white as possible. Home Depot sells "Glass Tile 7 lb. White Premium Thinset Mortar" which is specifically designed for this use. Depending on how long ago you installed the tile and the local weather it also may still be drying out. I hope this helps you and others that may have the same questions.

The tile is beautiful. My only suggestion is that you buy more than you need at one time. We added the the tile our builder installed and the color was slightly off. Luckily it was on a different wall. So, it isn’t very noticeable.
