My closet wall to wall measures about 49 inches will the expandable to 48 inches work given it slides into the wall mount?
What is the difference between left and right tube receivers, and end brackets? Our closet has side walls, 112 inches apart. It says the box comes with two left and right tube receiver, and center support. Do we need to purchase anything else?
The included left and right tube receivers are designed to be mounted directly to the side walls of your closet. End brackets, sold separately, are used when you don't have a side wall to attach to, or when connecting multiple units together. Since your closet has side walls 112 inches apart, and this unit expands to a maximum of 118 inches, the included hardware should be sufficient for installation. You will not need to purchase any additional brackets.
Can I remove rods temporarily if I nee to do repair work behind the wall and then put them back?
Yes, the rods in the Expandable DIY Closet Shelf & Rod can be temporarily removed for repair work and then reinstalled. They are designed to be easily expandable and adjustable, so removal and reinstallation is straightforward.
these say the end brackets are not included? But I don't see the end brackets being sold anywhere here so how are you supposed to install these? What am I missing?

End brackets are not included with this particular product, nor are they required for installation if you have side walls. If you are mounting to a back wall or do not have side walls, you will need separate end brackets. My closet is 117.5 W, will this work?

So if our closet widths are 102" and 104" respectively, , how do we shorten the poles to fit? A PVC cutter?
This expandable closet rod and shelf can be adjusted to fit closet widths between 63.3" and 118". For widths of 102" and 104", no shortening is necessary as they fall within the expandable range. You simply adjust the rod and shelf to the desired width during installation.
