Product Details

During heavy rains, top fill rain barrels can flood and cause costly damage to your home's foundation. Rain barrels that use a garden hose for overflow can't drain the volume of water fast enough to keep up with heavy rain from downspouts that are 10 to 20 times larger. The EarthMinded overflow hose kit makes it easy to add an overflow hose to any rain barrel. This kit includes a hose seal, hole saw and high capacity accordion drain hose (4 times the capacity of standard garden hose) to divert excess water away from the rain barrel and home.

      A:  This will divert rainwater from your FULL rain barrel. TRUST ME, everyone NEEDS this kit. We did not have one initially, and flooded our basement when the overflow rainwater came out thru the top of the barrel down the side of our house into a window well. It filled the window well completely & flooded into the basement. DO NOT make the same mistake. EVERYONE NEEDS ONE OF THESE KITS!
