How to know if I should use a CTL or non CTL on a 100amp Bryant circuit panel

Hi, the publication sticker on the panel should tell you what style breaker the panel is designed to accept. You could also look at the bus stab on the panel and see if it is a full stab (non-CTL) or a notched stab (CTL). If you have further questions, please call our technical support team at 877-386-2273 Opt. 2 Opt. 3 Opt. 1.

1> What does ’NON-CTL’ mean? 2> How deep is the slot on the top edge of the breaker where the connection to the breaker panel’s buss bar is made. In other words, will the breaker seat in a panel which has a bussbar connection 1/2 to 3/4 inch tall?
