We just completed a remodel of of our kitchen and bathrooms. The contractor added these bulbs to our bath lights and we loved the brightness so much that we have now changed every lightbulb throughout our entire home with 60 watt shy and 40 wattage bulbs. We can certainly see clearly now!

    Junk bulbs
After upgrading and replacing 21of my light bulbs 6 months ago to this Led bulb, 15 has quiet working and Of course I had to spend more money on new bulbs. I would suggest a different name brand light bulb if you are upgrading. Led is supposedly a smart lightbulb that is supposed to last year‘s and be more cost effective but I have found that to be a myth. Ecosmart lighting is making a killing because their product is not standing up for the consumer.

Ecosmart LED light bulbs may well be your best value for normal lighting. LED bulbs are smarter than incandescent and CFL's because they last far longer than either and do not contain mercury as CFL's do and therefore don't present the waste hazard. Of course you won't be throwing these away any time soon since under normal use they're life expectancy is 13.6 years based daily usage of 3 hours. They are listed as "daylight" because of the clarity of light they produce is very crisp white light. They are also dimmable which used to be the one issue with LED bulbs. But this problem has been solved.

It's amazing how inexpensive LED bulbs are at this point, there's no reason at all to go with incandescent bulbs. But these 5000K bulbs are best for very specific purposes where you need the whiteness of daylight. They are not at all soothing. They might be good for a kitchen or perhaps a bathroom or walk-in closet where you really want to be able to see clearly (as in choosing clothing color or for shaving/make-up), but don't put these in your reading lamps or in ambient light fixtures!

I've been using EcoSmart light bulbs for a long time now, they work great and last a long time. My whole house is now EcoSmart light bulbs. These 60w bulbs give off almost as much light as the old 100w incandescent light bulbs did, but they last much longer. The dimming works great, very dark to very bright. You won't go wrong with EcoSmart Bulbs. Go all LED bulbs now and save electricity.
