They do NOT last.
We bought these for our whole house less than a year ago. They have all gone out except 2 of them. Not worth it. I will not be buying Ecosmsrt bulbs again. They need to recall these bulbs.

Reduced Lumens
Your website in several places state that these bulbs produce 840 lumens of light. The box that just arrived says 800 lumens.

SAVE your receipt, you will need it!
Purchased 8 of these bulbs when we moved into a new house. I'm pretty disappointed that they cost so much but didn't even last as long as an incandescent bulb. They were in bedrooms and MINIMALLY used. Sadly, I can't find (or didn't save) the receipt so now I'm stuck finding and buying a better product.
Save yourself some time and effort, buy something else.

Melted in an enclosed fixture
Installed in a standard ceiling mount enclosed fixture. Bulb melted. Found this when I went to change the bulb. Similar Ecosmart bulbs (75w equivalent) say they're good in enclosed fixtures. For this 100w equivalent the box states that they are NOT for enclosed fixtures but also states that they generate less heat than an incandescent. I thought I'd get a shorter bulb life but didn't imagine it would be a fire hazard. Ecosmart should be much more clear on their warning labels.

Brightness OK... They burn out Much Too Quickly!
I wanted LONG life bulbs for "Hard to Reach" locations. Box says LED bulbs last 10yrs / 11,000hrs
I got 6 boxes in June 2020 +spent hours on ladder, to switching new LED bulbs. Sadly, they don't last as long as old style bulbs they replace. Many were not even used 3hrs per week, let alone 3hrs per day. A few last 2yr, most don't. (Don't trust claims on box) I think the power converter in base goes bad, not LED glow element.
Bulbs were NOT in hot attic, cold/wet areas, or used with dimmer.

Soft and warm
They give a soft and bright glow not like others that give a yellowish glow.

Dangerous Bulbs
Our kitchen light that hangs over our table was off. I heard what sounded like a small explosion and then glass breaking in my kitchen. Discovered the outside of the bulb separated from the light bulb, fell onto the table and then onto the floor. I swept up the largest piece of broken glass. The rest of it was tiny shards of glass on my kitchen floor and table. As the bulbs age, they turn gray compared to the newer bulbs. We will never buy these again!!!!

Small but bright
Love these little guys so far. They give off more heat than you would think, but they're just as bright as an incandesent bulb. They also weigh next to nothing

Nice, but not long lasting
I like that the LED are more electricity efficient and don't give off much heat. It's too bad that these don't last as long as incandescent. Each seems to last less than a year. Been through a few boxes of them. That's a real bummer.
