Q:2 brackets installed. 24 inches apart. Installed into 2 x 4 wood studs through drywall using 3'' coarse thread exterior grade screws - will they hold 500 lbs? If you can't answer the question - I obviously need to buy brackets elsewhere.

Got two, of which one was not square (not at 90° angle); had to exchange. This indicates a lack of basic quality control in the factory.
