Product Overview

With each design modeled after traditional plasting-type mouldings, our lightweight polyurethane mouldings give the same rich detail at a fraction of the cost. With the lightweight yet durable design of polyurethane moulding, most rooms can be completed in hours instead of days, and unlike wood, the pieces are not susceptible to rot, cracks or insect infestations. Ekena moulding comes to you factory-primed and ready for your choice of paint, faux finish, gel stain or marbleizing.

This baseboard worked fine for our application. We were using it in a bathroom, so a synthetic product was first on our list. The pattern and design matches some of our other millwork well, and the large height helped to cover some damaged wall remaining from the previous coving. I only ding this particular product one star, because of how fragile the polyurethane is. It is not as stiff as PVC. We didn't realize that at the time. While this definitely has some impact resistance, it is a lighter and less-dense product, which requires more care when installing. Things like finish nails can pull right through the material easily.
