Thanks for reaching out. As these panels are made of a PVC plastic, we would not recommend installing them directly near a heart source. Each fireplace manufacturer does have spacing guidelines, for particular materials used by the fireplace.
will this work as a tub surround?
Our panels can be installed inside the bathroom. If you want to install it inside the shower/bath stall, please make sure the gaps between the panels are properly sealed to prevent water from entering into the back of the panel. The gaps should be sealed with paintable (if you plan on painting it) and/or waterproof caulking or sealant. We do not recommend the panels be bent for radius application or submerged in water. What is required to finish off the outside corners with the EnduraWall panels?
Thanks for reaching out. There is no particular product needed for the outside corners. If you have to trim some panels, cut them with a standard utility knife or power tool, such as a table saw. Then, sand cut edge to remove debris. Will the glue damage the wall when removed
