Q:Hi Do both sides of this brace have curve? How you can install this?

A:  Thanks for reaching out. This is a traditional brace, so the curve (or radius) is on the front face of the bracket. The back of the brace follows the curve and the top and bottom are flat for an easy installation. There is a side view picture in the gallery that may help!       Q:How wide is the face of the bracket? I assume the 4” is the depth of the bracket where it mounts to the post/beam

      A:  Thanks for reaching out. The face of the brace is 4" in width (with the ends being 2" in thickness). The flat portion of the brace, that typically attaches to the post/house, is 11" both at the top and bottom. Hope this information helps and the brace works great for your project.         A:  These are the actual product dimensions.

          A:  These are true measurements, so if you order it in rough sawn it will be a full 4", which would overhang a traditional 4 X 4 post. If you order the smooth version, it will be 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 which would fit better on a 4 X 4
