Can this be used as a casing for built in entertainment center and interior paint used. Is this reversible with one side raised one side fluted? And is this 2 pieces or are they already attached?
Thanks for reaching out. Sure, these pilasters are commonly used in an interior application. The back is flat and the front portion (shown) is a fluted pattern/design. They arrive primed white, ready to be painted. We recommend using a good quality acrylic latex paint. The pilaster install easily and hassle-free with construction adhesive and finishing nails. Can this product be cut to height?
Yes, this pilaster could be trimmed to height and the height of the plinth is 16". Generally, you would want to leave some of the plinth, so you wouldn't want to trim it off completely .
