Flexible enough for creative uses
I used this piece to replace a connector for a dust bag on a 30-year-old Black and Decker miter saw. It isn't what it was designed for, but it worked. With a little sgueezing and stretching, the flexible 1-1/4-inch diameter on each end fit into the 1-1/4-inch socket on the saw as well as the 1-3/8-inch bracket on the dust bag. You might try this if you need a similar part you can't find after so many years. I'll attach a photo of the broken piece I replaced as well as the finished connection.
