AnswersI'm going to try calling Everbilt. Unless they rebranded the pump (I have the same one as you) made by somebody else, they might be able to help. Will let you know. Clearly this adapter is the "weak link" in the pump architecture.

Wrong Size
The label on the bag says "1-1/4 in." but the one I received actually measures 1-1/2 in. See pictures.
It looks like probably had a mix up when packing/labeling them, at least the one I got.
I saw some other reviews on here that said something similar, so maybe it was not just me.
Where was the Quality Control?

It is 1-1/4”. You can’t just measure a pipe fitting and determine the size like that. This will work with 1-1/4” sump hose and 1-1/4” poly coil pipe.

You purchased a female garden hose adapter the fits on a utility pump You need the male garden hose adapter for the sump pump. All sumps are male female threads. Please see link to this item.
