Awesome Little Pump
I bought this pump a couple weeks ago to help empty the last little bit of water that was below the drain plug on a 3,000 gallon pool so I could work on getting it cleaned.... Got it ready to be filled back up and of course, couldn't find anywhere that was available to deliver water. Decided to try our luck and see if we could pump water from our pond to fill it. Honestly figured I was taking a good chance of burning it up but figured it was cheap enough that I would try it. Pond is 150-175 feet from the pool so we ran 2 - 100 ft hoses. We ran the pump for about 12 hours the first day and maybe another 2 the next morning to finish it up. I was pretty amazed with the job it done and if it can tackle that, I'm confident with using it for any and all of the smaller jobs I would need it for. Also had 1 instance of the hose floating to the top of the pond pulling mostly air and was unnoticed for up to 15 minutes.  While I definitely wouldn't recommend not keeping a close eye on it, it still worked perfectly even after that. Picture of the pool is a couple hours before we quit for the day and just after I put chemicals in. Water actually looked better than I expected it to coming from the pond.

This is a really handy pump to use to move water out of awkward places. It is much faster than "bailing" with a cup or small bucket and it will reach into spots that just don't work for a bucket. It comes with two inlet ends for the suction hose - one is a cast piece that sits flush on a floor or other flat surface, the other in a small round screen that will fit into a small pipe or sump area. It's fairly quite in operation and it moves water pretty fast, much faster than having to bail. The outlet fits standard garden hoses so you can use the most appropriate hose to discharge the water where you need to. It is intended for fairly clean water, not seriously dirty water with a lot of mud or grit. You'd want to use a pump rated as a trash pump for that kind of use. I used this to suction out a water meter box that was flowing a lot of water to find the source of the leak. It worked very well to help me track down my leak. I appreciate that there is a repair kit included that has a replacement pump impeller, o-ring and motor brushes.

This pump could be the answer to my flooded yard problem. Every time we have a really heavy rain, I have a yard that has a large low spot that extends from the middle of my yard to the garage and patio overhang. It is really annoying. The yard needs time to "dry out", the dog gets wetter and dirty because of it and I don't like to add to the mosquito population with standing water in my yard. This 1/10 hp non-submersible transfer pump should do an effective job. I have read all of the directions and I have an extra garden hose which will be used with the pump. I am ready for the next down pour!

Nice little pump - perfect for removing water from water heaters, toilet bowls, etc. At 6 gpm it will drain small volumes fairly quick. I like the two heads that can be used for suctioning water depending upon application. The build quality is stout with the exception of the handle. I think the handle could be more robust as I tend to be tough on things. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is the need to fill the motor housing with vegetable oil for prolonged life. I get that it helps but I don't want to carry around containers or tubes of oil. Overall, handy to have and is a good tool to have when you need it

As a plumber I’m always looking for products that make my jobs easier and more profitable. One huge waste of time is draining water heaters. It’s hard to stand around waiting for a sluggish old heater to drain and the ever present customers wonder why they’re paying for this. I got this transfer pump to speed up the process. It takes a fraction of the time to drain even a 75 gallon heater with that s pump than just allowing gravity to do the draining. And I can pump the water UP into a sink or out the basement window if there’s no floor drain nearby. The customers love to see things get done quickly too. My only concern is the instructions say to put vegetable oil in before each use. I doubt I’m going to be keeping that on the truck so we’ll have to see how that turns out.

I received the Ever built 1/10 HP Non-Submersible self-priming transfer pump that came with a six feet hose a suction strainer and a puddle strainer that can be used to remove water from a flooded area, move water from one place to another or used to drain an area like a clogged sink. . I plan on using it to drain down fish tanks for water changes.

As a maintenance man / handyman, I deal with flooded areas, sinks, and tubs all the time. The 1/10 HP NON-SUBMERSIBLE TRANSFER PUMP by Everbilt is the perfect solution for me. At a little over 6 pounds it is lightweight, and rated at 6 gallons a minute it is fast. With standard 3/4 inch "garden hose" connections it is easy to use. Very fast hook up and take down saves me man hours. Great buy.

I got this Everbilt 1/10 HP Non-Submersible Transfer Pump to replace an older transfer Pump that I’ve used for many years. The Everbilt is a rather small sized Pump that couldn’t be handier. The Transfer Pump comes complete with a short section of clear garden hose for the inlet; a flat bottomed strainer that snugly slips over the male end of the garden hose and ideally lays flat on the bottom surface of the area being drained; a cage strainer that screws onto the male end of a garden hose; a set of use and care directions; a one page quick start guide; a replacement Pump propeller; a set of replacement brushes for the motor; and a replacement O ring. When properly positioned, the flat bottomed strainer will enable the Pump to remove water down to a depth of 1/8”. I got this Pump to drain the nutrient tanks in my greenhouse between crops. Each tank holds up to 40 gallons. This Everbilt Transfer Pump drained one of those tanks without issue and in a matter of minutes. I normally use the flat bottomed attachment until the fluid is low and then I tilt the rear of the tank upward and remove the attachment to drain as much as I can before sponging out the remainder. The supplied intake hose is clear enough for you to observe the transfer activity taking place. That hose was easier to unfurl than I expected. I did add a 10’ section of drain hose that I picked up at Home Depot that has a female hose fitting on one end and no connection on the other. There is no chance of me carting it off to use for other purposes. I either run the drain hose out the door or into the drain in the center of the greenhouse during use. The Pump can handle 50’ of drain hose but 10’ is ample for me. The Pump is well labelled with easy to read print that indicates the direction of flow. Everything reads that you need to prime the Pump with vegetable oil before use. The video below shows a sample of the Pump in use. The Pump is loud but quieter than my previous pump. Even though I didn’t prime the Pump for the video the transfer began quickly and continued smoothly. For this sample transfer I used clear water that contained a small percentage of chlorine bleach. I’m happy with how this Everbilt Transfer Pump performed and expect to get many years of service from it.

I recieved this 1/10 hp pump from the home depot on Wednesday and on Thursday I set it up and ran it for 10 hours straight pumping sump water out of machines, sometimes up as much as 20 feet. The box contained everything except for a discharge hose which is just any standard garden hose. It came with good instructions to get you going , plus a pickup hose and 2 different suction feet. It also contained an extra impeller and brushes. I'm pretty impressed with this little pump and will be buying more in the future

I received the Everbilt 1/10 horsepower NON-Submersible Transfer Pump in the mail for review. I found that this transfer pump is very easy to use. Just prime with vegetable oil prior to use, which I don't like about this transfer pump. I used this transfer pump to drain my hot water tank ( I annually flush my hot water tank ). Overall I feel this product is adequate for simple light duty transfer jobs.

I service appliances and at times when I service washing machines it is necessary to empty out a full load of water from the tub. So in that case I choose to use a transfer pump to do the job. The pump I have been using for over 20 years is self priming and has never needed lubrication and still works just fine. This new pump as seen in one of my photos says to lubricate the pump with 2 Teaspoons of vegetable oil prior to using. This is something I never had to do with my other pump and I am not happy to have to do this with this pump! It is just one more thing that I have to do and in the field it's just a hassle, especially for a pump that is supposed to be self priming. In one of my other pictures you can see that the hose does not screw onto the puddle strainer and that you must push the end of the hose into the fitting on the puddle strainer. The problem was when I went to remove the hose from the puddle strainer the fitting pulled out of the puddle strainer, this was a bit disconcerting but with a little effort I pulled the adapter off of the hose and reinserted it into the puddle strainer. I just wonder how many times this thing can do this before I need a new adapter?

This 1/10 HP NON-SUBMERSIBLE TRANSFER PUMP was just what I needed to drain some stock tanks so they could be cleaned out and moved. Has a nice carry handle and the base has holes to screw it down if needed. Primes with two teaspoons of vegetable oil I do not have electric close so I had to use an extension cord my 25 foot 12 gauge was perfect for this. Took about 20 minutes to empty the tanks and the pump was somewhat loud but given the size and speed it pumped it was understandable. It has 2 strainers and since I did not need to drain tank to almost empty I used the round one, comes with a clear hose and I used a 15 foot discharge hose since it just went onto ground. It also come with replacement parts an impeller and brushes and easy instructions on how to replace them

Excellent little pump for transferring non flammable liquids. It has many uses around the household and comes with two different strainers and an extra set if motor brushes and an extra pump impeller. The pump motor is 1/10 HP and is 115V AC. It can be set up as a permanent mounted system or used as a portable transfer pump. The motor has a mounting flange for attaching to a base or it has a handle for carrying around. It's by no means a gusher but at 6 gal. per minute, it works well for many household uses.

This is an inexpensive transfer pump for small clean up jobs or emptying things like aquariums and water heaters. It comes with almost everything you need to stat pumping water out of a container or floor, you will need to provide a garden hose to attach to the outlet and some vegetable oil to prime the pump. In the box will be the pump, intake hose, intake strainer, intake smooth surface suction plate and spare parts (impeller, motor brushes, o-ring) This can be used with freshwater only. The box says no chlorinated pools or salt water. It cannot pump solids or large chunks of debris. It works fine for emergencies or clean ups but it's not a permanent sump pump and should not be used as such. Having to prime it each time with vegetable oil is kind of annoying, so just put a cheap bottle of it in the box so you always have it. I'd recommend it as long as you know it's a small pump for smaller jobs.
