What is the average lifespan of the thermoplastic housing?

On average, the housing material should last for at least 20 years depending on the factors above. You shouldn't have an issue with the housing for many, many years. How do I wire it for electrical plug
Hello Cindy, The gauge of cord can change based on a 115 volt or a 230 volt application. The wiring diagram can be found on page 8 of the Instructions / Assembly manual if you need help wiring the cord to the motor. Thank you, Customer Service
my pump shuts down after a minute and will restart if i turn off power for a minute but will trip again after another minute of running

Can the pressure switch on this pump be switched out for a 40/60 switch?
Technically yes it can. The pressure switch can be adjusted. Do a google search for pressure switch adjustment. Depending on your setup, you'll need to adjust the pressure tank as well.
My pump started cavitating at the higher pressure. It’s not designed to go above 50. Not an adjustable pump.
