This 1/2 in. lead-free copper pressure tee provides a branch line from a main line in aboveground water connections. It is ideal for securing copper pipe in residential and commercial systems, such as potable water, air conditioning and refrigeration. It features solder cups and a maximum working pressure of 722 psi. This pressure tee's durable copper construction is low-maintenance and dezincification-resistant. It is reusable, ideal for sustainable projects.

Q:WHY HASN'T SOMEONE CORRECTED THE PRODUCT DETAILS FOR THIS "T" FITTING? IT SAYS THAT THE INSIDE DIAMETER IS 1/2 INCH WHICH IT IS NOT!!! THE ACTUAL INSIDE DIAMETER IS 5/8 INCH. I KNOW BECAUSE I BOUGHT SOME 1/2 INCH T FITTINGS AND A 5/8 DRILL BIT GOES IN.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry on the Everbilt 1/2 in. Copper Pressure All Cup Tee Fitting. Copper fittings are sized by the Nominal pipe that they will accept, not on the inside diameter of the fitting itself. This ½” fitting accepts 1/2 in.           A:  Hi Tee, i purchased this copper tee and it's 3/4" on all sides. The description maybe was meant to read 3/4 x 3/4 x 3/4 as per photo The other posibility is that a 3" length of the tee end to end which is about right. If you're looking for a 3/4" copper tee this is it. Hope that answers your question

              This worked well for me, although when I began to fit it to my 1/2” pipe, it was a VERY snug fit, and I was wondering whether I would be able to mate the parts. There is not much tolerance for error, so if your companion fitting is not completely smooth and perfectly round or you lack sufficient space for a good trajectory to mate the parts, you could have some difficulty completing this installation. Fortunately it did work fine for me and it was easy to solder when properly cleaned and fluxed (see pictures).

              We needed to make some sign holders for my daughter...
              We needed to make some sign holders for my daughter wedding out of copper pipe. She gave us the instructions and we headed for Home Depot in SLO where we were assisted by Michael Padilla in the copper pipe section. When I explained we are here from Montana and I have no tools to cut the copper pipe. He took the dimensions and cut every piece for us, about 14. My daughter loved them and they worked perfectly. Matt spent a lot of time doing this for us and was very cordial and polite while he worked. I don’t usually send comments, but in this case I felt like you should know.
