The 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. lead-free wrot copper solder pressure 90° close rough elbow is used in residential and commercial systems such as potable water, air conditioning and refrigeration. The 90° elbow features solder cups and a close rough radius. The fitting provides a means of changing the pipeline direction 90°. It is used when velocity is not a problem.

According to my plumber (I'm not one), the copper pipe may be of two types (L&M), but the fittings are all the same and may be used interchangeably.

Not sure about this question, but (again) my plumber says that in this usage (sprinkler system), the copper typically ties into PVC below the ground level.

Can it be used on refridgerant lines using 410 freon?
