        Answer This Question

A:  Hi, Fred - As noted on the product's webpage on hd.com, it has a maximum working temperature of 175F. We're somewhat leery about recommending it for use with an oil pressure line given the temperatures.

Not Safe for Gasoline/Fuel, Hardens & Leaks Fuel!
Warning! This tubing should not be sold/used as fuel line. Doing so is a dangerous fire hazard & environmental hazard. Every gas and 2-cycle machine this product was installed on leaked within months. Requiring all work to be repeated with Tygon fuel line. Lots of frustration & wasted time. This Everbilt line is not flexible enough to work with. Running pump gasE10, or 2-cycle fuel through this line results in it hardening, shrinking at the fuel tank, and losing its seal on fittings. Leaks fuel!
