3/4" copper Tube Cap, when you come to the end of the line and need to put a cap on it. once you weld (sweat) the cap into place the job is done. good to have a small supply of this for when the job calls for it. Ideal for central air conditioner lines or water lines or when you have to cut into and reroute lines and you have a small end to cap. Always some a small supply in store.

This copper cap provides a good fit to standard schedule copper pipe that is easy to solder. Bright polished finish. Spreads heat evenly which ensures an easy flow of solder around the joint. Accepts flux well. Walls are thin as compared to my old copper plumbing but appear to be sufficient. Good depth for proper seating. Overall a good copper cap for terminating standard copper pipe.

I like copper; anything copper. Copper items are my accessories of choice in my home. Not sure what I will do with this but rest assured I will find a place and a use for it. It is smooth to the touch, no rough edges and polished very nicely, I would think it would cover a top of a decorative bottle and look quite nice along side a copper bowl or copper picture frame. Perfect!

3/4 inch copper cap. These are meant to be soldered to the end of a copper pipe to hold water. Be sure to "clean" the inside of the cap and outside of the pipe before soldering. My favorite off label use for these is to use them in the bird bath to prevent algae growth. Usually they suggest using very old pennies, I think pre 1982 but I found the larger birds can make off with them . These caps are large enough that they will not be taken and work just as well or even better to keep the algae down. Cheap fix to an annoying problem.

The three quarter (¾) inch Copper Tube Cap is a good price for a copper tube cap. If you’re using it for potable water pipes, it is rated for such. I use copper fittings for DIY garden and craft projects and this works very well for the top/end of the project. It patinas well (if that’s your interest). It has a solder cup to facilitate a better solder connection.
