This unique lead-free compression adapter comes already assembled with a captive sleeve, this puts even pressure on the tubing and ensures a tight seal. Ideal for gasoline, grease, oil, water, vacuum and air lines and can be installed quickly by both homeowners and contractors alike. The solid brass construction ensures that you're choosing a durable and corrosion resistant product. This item complies with NSF 372 lead free certification.

  • Lead-free brass is not more than a weighted average of 0.25% lead when used with respect to the wetted surfaces of pipes and pipe and plumbing fittings and fixtures

Q:I am guessing the compression end won't fit over a 1/2 inch copper pipe! Please advice on the correct size compression that goes over and will fit a 1/2 inch copper pipe. Thanks

A:  For the Everbilt 1/2 in. OD Compression x 1/2 in. MIP Brass Adapter Fitting, you will use instead a 5/8 in. compression to use with a ½ in. copper pipe.

    Q:What is the thread count on the male 1/2 inch end. I'm needing this type adapter with a 20 thread count. Hoping to find a 1/2 inch male 20 thread count with a female 3/8 inch compression end. I'd prefer a tapered thread on the male end. Thanks.

    A:  We are not sure of the exact application, but the MIP could be threaded into a hole cut into the bucket. Teflon tape would help prevent leakage for the Everbilt 1/4 in. OD Compression x 1/4 in. MIP Brass Adapter Fitting.

        Perfect for a new faucet install/hookup.
        This little adapter fitting was exactly what I needed to install my new faucets! I had my countertops replaced in the kitchen and bathrooms, installed new faucets and found there was no way to connect the faucet water lines to my supply lines. Stopped in and a very helpful associate pointed me to exactly what I needed. A little teflon tape on the threads and these went in very easily.

        This is the third time I’ve purchased Everbilt 1/4 inch straight or elbow compression fittings. One feature I like is that the collar and compression nut are pre-mounted. I’ve lost too many collars to count. With Everbilt, the collars can’t be lost/misplaced.

        This got the job done. I was replacing a kitchen faucet at night and during the final steps of installation noticed that the connection from my PEX pipe (1/2 in.) didn't fit my new connectors from the faucet (3/8 in.). Feeling frustrated, I headed off to a "blue-colored" competitor. The associate told me exactly what I needed, but they were all out. He was nice enough to pull up a picture of the exact part I needed and send me on my way, as I told him I was headed to his "orange" competitor. Arriving at HD just before closing, I showed the pic to an associate, and he found it right away. Back home, I installed the adapter in seconds to finish the faucet installation. No leaks! I thought the price seemed a little high for 2 adapters, but I'm no plumber, and given my situation, I couldn't be picky.
