Lolo, thanks for your question and the answer is YES it can be replaced. You can contact the manufacture or your local Home Depot Store for replacement. I hope this answers your question.

Rock, that's a very good question and due to the abundance of these yard hydrants I would say yes. To be sure you should check with your local Home Depot and ask one of the associates in the plumbing department if they have one in stock and if not try the "Pro Desk" to see of you can order one. These are in common usage on farms so they most likely have them in stock. eyedaddy

Well, the product description says it's 1" standpipe; so the connection is still 3/4"?

We needed to replace a hydrant on the property. I dug up the old one by hand, which was a lot of work. But this hydrant seems very high quality, works very smooth, and while I just put it in yesterday, all is working well, and it's great to have water over there again.

operates below zero F at about 10 gpm with hose and nozzle. superior valve and o-ring seal adjustmemts. instructions light, so note ... never use handle as a throttle / always open handle / valve 100%, else weep hole will flood gravel drain field. never leave open hose nozzle in tank, else it will syphon tank into drain field when valve closed. likewise if open/leaking hose nozzle will syphon hose contents back into field, so disco hose asap when close valve. always install with sanitary backflow valve preferably 1” so less flow restriction. should operate with a nozzle for back pressure, so dont just put a bucket under spigot with no nozzle for backpressure and dont use valve partially open to create throttle / back-pressure

Response from Everbilt TeamOct 9, 2020
Assuming you don’t have a very aggressive water or soil, if installed properly (gravel bed to allow for drainage; installed below the frost line) and if you remove the hose when it could freeze, this item will provide many years of trouble free service. We have many customers that have been using our yard hydrants for over 20 years.

I have competing brands (blue & red handle's) frost free outdoor water hydrant's. I have not been satisfied with them. So when another blue handle (Simmons) failed, I searched for something better. I read reviews & watched video's. I took a chance on Everbilt at Home Depot. The brass waste valve is higher quality as well as the on-off handle action which is as easy to turn on water as any indoor faucet. I am pleased I chose Everbilt. I feel it will outlast competitor products & I hopefully will not have to hand dig this 5' hole again.
