These stainless steel screws are soft. I was screwing then into pre-drilled holes on the tubes of a piece of lawn furniture. About a quarter of the screws would strip. The screw threads would strip smooth as I tightened them in the holes....before the screw was even tight. See pic.

good for what I needed it for, but careful not to drive it in too tight into hard wood, the head easily strips if you have to unscrew them. There really is no product choice when it comes to purchasing fasteners in in these small quantities. Its not like the old days of hardware stores when the guy behind the counter had a bunch of choices and sold them by the piece or pound, and he can tell you what the real strong screws were
