Product Overview

  • Complex Indexing efficiently automates multiple irrigation zones
  • Automatic and manual modes enable flexibility in operation
  • Resilient ABS plastic material is resistant to heat and impact
The FIMCO Manufacturing Inc. 4 outlet mini indexing valves offers a reliable and economical way to automate multiple zoned irrigation systems. This Hydro Indexing Valve has 1 inlet and 4 outlets which are all 1 in. slip fit. The valve can be operated manually or automatically to suit your need. The simple design ensures ease of installation and maintenance.
  • Valve is recommended for use in an irrigation system driven by city water
  • Indexing valve can run from 2 to 4 zones based on the chosen cam configuration
  • Manual or automatic operation
  • 2, 3 and 4 zone cams included
  • Pipe size 1 in.
  • 4 outlets
  • Recommended for flow rates of 10 to 25 GPM
  • 10 PSI minimum pressure rating
  • Anti-siphon valve (not included) is recommended and may be required for safe operation of the FIMCO hydro indexing valve on a city water installation
  • Great alternative to individual solenoid valves
  • 1 above ground valve controls all zones eliminating the need to dig into the ground to locate electric solenoid valve boxes
  • 1 valve can replace up to (4) 1 in. solenoids
  • Only use standard clear PVC cement (not included) when installing the valve and allow the valve 2 hours to set before subjecting it to internal water pressure, do not use fast setting blue glue as it will rapidly deteriorate the ABS plastic used in the construction of the indexing valve, purple primer has a similar effect and should only be applied to PVC pipe and never the valve housing

Does it require to cut the pipes going into old valve or just remove old vale & install new one
Asked by: Mike
you have to cut pipes to level out the 4 zones, make sure valve fits and is seated correctly, look at the water feed from pump and you can reattach to current pump feed line, if not you may to extend that line to fit, worked fine

It stopped working after the first two zones and when switch back to the first two zones still did not work. Help!
Asked by: Bryan
There are several factors. Digital or mechanical timer digital is a different set up. Do you have the right insert for the number of zones you have? Should be three different ones i would chek that first. You might have 2 of them covered . Those would be what I would check first. Make sure if say you only have 3 zone the part that covers one is on the zone that is deadended. Hope that helps. .

Can these be used with municipal water supply, or do you absolutely need to use a well pump? Does it really only need 10psi to properly cycle zones?
