Anyone know shear strength of these?
The allowable shear in wood applications is between 220 and 320 pounds each depending on wood species, wood thickness and load direction as it relates to the wood grain. Metal allowable shear is 1235 pounds but not typically a failure as the wood would break first around the screw. If more is need feel free to contact FastenMaster Technical at 800-518-3569
Is this supposed to pass inspections just like a carriage bolt on railing posts ?

I am wanting to replace screws that are in my ledger board with these are, they fine to go through concrete? There is already a hole where I intend to put them
The LedgerLOK fasteners are intended for attaching into wood only. A fastener designed and approved for use into concrete should be used instead. Lag screws into lag shields, wedge anchors, threaded rods into chemical anchors or heavy-duty concrete screws (not thinner blue concrete screws) are all common methods for this type of connection.
Can you use these with a 5/8 thick ledger spacer to allow drainage behind the ledger? The space has a 1/2 inch hole to allow for a lag bolt.

Can this be used on a pool deck?

Can ledgerlok be used to secure 2x4's to a post? Since this will be used in a furniture, what size countersink bit should I use?
Thank you for your inquiry. A countersink bit of 5/8" or 3/4" would work. An alternate choice might be a 5" HeadLOK fastener which would provide less splitting with similar head size.
What is the diameter?
The diameter of the LedgerLOK Flathead fastener is .700" or just under 3/4" .
