GLASS IS FRAGILE VERY VERY FRAGILE
Looks great BUT the glass breaks where it is glued into the metal base. I've had 3 break in this area while I was just gently dusting.
I have a light fixture with 12 of these bulbs in it. So I'm committed to using them.
I would recommend you steer clear and find a more durable alternative.

These are great for a little accent light and look really cool.
I really like the old style design of these. Very soft white, good for a reading lamp maybe.
My only real issues is that they aren't quite bright enough to be much more than an accent light, but too bright to really see the LED coils when lit. A few of these together would be good for any soft lighting you need though.
2 year warranty. If it fails or you just are not happy with the light they will replace it.
15,000 hours of life. If you use this 8 hours a day it will last 5 years.
6.5 watts.10 of these use the same amount of power as 1 standard light bulb.

This is a nice looking soft white LED bulb that has the look and "feel" of a vintage type bulb. It has a spiral filament (see picture below) that looks great whether at full intensity or when dimmed down. It has a soft glow that works well in our wall sconces. LED bulbs produce little heat so they are cool(er) to the touch and safer around children when exposed in lamps. This bulb is fully dimmable unlike some other LED bulbs-remember you'll need a dimmer that works with LED bulbs. Of course, it is extremely energy efficient but the main reason I like it is because of the look of the filament when lit.It produces about the same light as a typical 40 watt bulb but only draws 6.5 watts of electricity!.

This Edison style bulb is actually most noticeable when it is off. It is best suited for fixtures with exposed bulbs so that its "throwback" style will be visible. When on, the filament style is not obvious unless you are intentionally looking for it. The bulb provides ample lighting for a reading lamp or hallway but wouldn't be used to light up a room on its own. The bulb becomes warm to the touch during use but not hot. There is only one bulb in the package. I would recommend this bulb if you're wanting to have a novelty item for one or a handful of fixtures.

I love the look of these retro bulbs. It has a great design and looks really cool but the light is very yellow so keep that in mind when it is a warm light it casts a strong amber/yellow light. But I still love the bulb and I have only had it installed for a week and already had a half a dozen comments from friends that like the bulb and asked me where I got it, so I call that a win...

This bulb puts out a very soft, warm glow which is very relaxing. It's equivalent to a 40 watt incandescent and is suitable for bedroom lighting. We installed ours in an accent lamp placed on a dresser located across from our bed. It provides perfect soothing light to prepare you for sleep. The old time design of the filament is set off by its clear glass giving an overall antique look which goes well with our type of furniture.

Already years ago I had fitted most light fixtures in my house with energy saving bulbs, unfortunately they are quite ugly. Now I broke down and replaced some of them with LED bulbs, and a few directly visible ones with these vintage looking LED bulbs.
I really like the look of these vintage style bulbs. They have a nice, warm light, and are still energy saving.
The life span of these bulbs is listed with 15,000 hours, which is a lot less then the 50,000 hours for a normal LED bulb, but it still calculates to 10 years with an average use of 4 hours per day.
