AnswerVerger, this is the lowest PAR38 bulb that is CEC Title 24 compliant, it uses 11.1 watts and is equivalent to a 90-watt incandescent bulb. You can find a CEC Title 24 compliant 75 watt bulb but would have to go smaller to a PAR30S. If you have further questions please contact our customer service at 866-326-2852

Amazingly bright LED flood lamp. Well into the daylight color range. It may be dimmable, but needs the new CL type of dimmers. It dims a little with our older dimmer. As we are planning to use it outside as a flood lamp going full power, probably not such a big deal. The light cone is a bit narrower than some flood lamps, but as we are putting it in a location about 20 ft up over our front door, the narrow cone works ok. The claim is 1400 lumens and based on other lamps, that seems like a reasonable number. It is a par38 bulb so it has the rough surface.

This LED bulb looks like any other flood light bulb BUT puts out a brighter and whiter light with little or no heat from the bulb and should last for years. Seen lit next to a regular bulb this LED bulb is much brighter with a much whiter light. Given how long this LED bulb should last and how energy efficient it is, at under $10 this is a wise purchase and I recommend it.

I have been replacing the old style incondescent lights with the newer LED bulbs throughout my home inside and out. There are two terms used to describe light bulbs you should know, Kelvin tells you the color of light and Lumens tells you the intensity or how bright the light. I have been installing daylight bright or bulbs with a high K for outdoor use. See photo for side by side comparison. FEIT enhance bulbs gives you the 5000K with 1400 Lumens a good choice for outdoor lighting.
