The FORMUFIT 1/2 in. 3-Way Furniture Grade PVC Elbow in White can be used to create corner or multi-plane elbow connections in PVC applications. This PVC elbow fitting connects 3 segments of 1/2 in. Schedule 40 PVC pipe in 3 separate directions for corner joints or cube applications. With its furniture grade construction, this fitting is designed to be used in nearly any application, including indoor use, full weather exposure and outdoor usages. Injection molded using engineered plastics, including UV resistance and impact resistance properties, this PVC fitting will not change color, fade, crack or become brittle; even in years of direct sunlight and abuse.
  • Excellent solution for building boxes with PVC pipe, cubes or and right angle structures that requires a corner or three-point connection. There are three (3) extra-deep sockets in total, all on separate planes at 90 degrees to each other
  • Injection-molded using ultra-strong, premium furniture grade PVC resin; a superior, engineered plastic that is designed for outdoor use, weatherability, and can be used in direct sunlight
  • UV resistance maintains fitting durability and appearance through years of exposure to varying weather conditions; impact strength is 5 times as strong as other fitting products due to the formulated impact modifiers
  • Approved for fluid handling in hydroponics, aquaponics, residential irrigation and aquarium use. Not NSF rated for standard plumbing use
  • Does not contain any heavy metals, phthalates or dioxins and is certified safe for use with children and pets
  • Join by via standard clear PVC cement for permanent connection or by press-to-fit; can also be used with screws where the pipe and fitting meet to make removable or reusable connections
  • Pack of 10 3-Way PVC Elbow Fittings
  • Connects externally over 1/2 in. Size Schedule 40 PVC pipe, which has an outside diameter of 13/16 in. (0.840 in.); meets ASTM D1785 standards for PVC pipe size and dimensions

Q:What size of pvc pipe fits into these 3 way elbows?

A:  These will accept any 1" Schedule 40 size PVC pipe, which should have an outside diameter of 1.315" (1-5/16").

    Q:Would 1 inch diameter wood dowels fit? Can they be painted? Can you screw through the PVC?

    A:  I am afraid not. Wooden dowels use a different measurement system than PVC pipe and the dowels would be too small for the fittings. These fittings can be painted, and you can use screws through the PVC as long as you pre-drill a hole.

      A:  Metal conduit (EMT) utilizes a different measurement system and does not comply with the same ASTM standards in dimensions as PVC. If you were to use metal Sch 40 pipe, they would fit, however EMT conduit is a completely different measurement system. We do apologize.
