      A:  No, it is not recommended to paint this PVC pipe.

        A:  I am using it outdoors embedded in 10" concrete and sticking out about 4". I spray painted it and seems to hold up outdoors.

        Feels high quality. Can cut with 7 1/4” circular saw. I am using it for removable outdoor patio light buckets to hold an 8ft wooden closet rod vertically. It is embedded in 10” of concrete in the bucket to act as a stem for the closet rod. So far seems to hold it place without any chipping or cracking.
