AnswerNo, mine was close to a heat vent and it didn’t bother the snow. It comes with an inverted umbrella base to catch the fake snow. If your vents are in your ceiling that might make a difference but my wall vent didn’t bother it.

This tree was a disappointment. It wasn’t as big or full as I was expecting. The lights it came with were gorgeous and the music was fun, but the snow function didn’t work properly on ours. It would spit out one big puff and then stop for an hour or so and let off one big puff again and quit. We ended up returning it as it was expensive for what we got.

Don't waste your time or money. It's cheap looking and the tree is small. Looks like it's from dollar store. Very disappointed!
