Bottom cracked within a year.
Both barrels I purchased last spring cracked on the bottom. I would not recommend them.

Brass faucet leak at first use
The faucet is leaking with tiny drips at first use. We tried tightening, but still dripping. We finally resorted to put a container under the faucet. Very disappointed as it supposed to have a better brass faucet which we paid more for than other brand of rain barrier with PVC faucet. After we drained the barrier and took the faucet apart, we found that a tiny rubber flat washer is loose with missing securing screw. Not happy as we got to search for the right screw to fit it or get new faucet.

Disappointed
Quality is disappointing. The bottom is so misshapen that the lid doesn't go on well. Now I know one of the reasons you have to screw the lid on. It will not sit flat, though this may be solved with the weight of the water. Now I am very worried about the long term quality of the product.

Cracked after a year
We thought they were awesome, but it has been a year and all 3 we ordered cracked in some way. Bottom on one side on another and the top on the third. In My experience these are only good for 1 year. Do not buy these!!!

Ours Broke after one year
I was very impressed with the size of the barrel and the features. Before winter we drained it and left the tap open. This spring we noticed it wasn’t holding any water and when we lifted it the whole bottom had cracked open. So it didn’t even survive one year. I’m upset because now we have a piece of junk that is useless and can’t be repaired. Maybe we were one of the unlucky ones to receive crappy merchandise. My neighbour has the same one with no issues.

seems to be well made, until bottom cracked
I used this all summer. Held rain very well, stayed stable, no leaks. This winter I opened the faucet to drain out water, then after a hard freeze there was a big crack across the bottom which leaked like crazy. If Home Depot lets me exchange this for a new one I will update this review. There was only a little water in the bottom. That should not crack plastic.

Easy install, works best when set on blocks we used 3 cement blocks to give stability and height for watering can.
