Installed in wall not window
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner I purchased was installed in my wall instead of my window. After my unit was installed and trimmed out it looks nice. It appears to be running efficiently so far. The remote control that it came with is perfect because my unit is very high. The installation to do what was necessary for my home was a little costly but hopefully it will run smoothly for many years to come. Insurance was offered so I did buy that too just in case there were any problems. Insurance will give me more security. Love it so far. After my installation I’m hoping that I will be able to enjoy my air conditioner for many many years.

Absolute Beast!
- Seriously heavy, you either need tools (like a hydraulic table), or friends you don't mind losing, to get this installed.
- Will suck all the heat out of your south facing 1,800 sqft house.
- Standing in front of this thing while it's running is like doing a cold plunge.
- Unit features remote sensing, so you can go off of the remote's temp instead of the unit's temp.
- Reasonably quite, especially when you consider the amount of heat it's eating.

Great Air Conditioner. However I don't like the way...
Great Air Conditioner. However I don't like the way it switches to ECONO mode when turned on. It also does this when the timer is set. I don't like that feature.

25000 btu air conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy a new unit because my 8 year old units compressor would not start and I did not have the luxury of time to repair it. The older unit had a temperature differential of 2 degrees in remote mode. The new unit is 6 degree’s which is not a very acceptable range. I plan on talking to someone about this. Otherwise it is working ok.
On my older unit I found out the compressor relay is not operating. I replaced the relay and the relay driver ulc2003 ic. I’m hoping that this will fix my issue.
The thermistors seem to test ok . Around 7k ohms and change with heat and cold. It would be nice to have some technical support from Frigidaire.

If the room temperature is below 62°F (17°C), cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 62°F (17°C). Below are a couple of troubleshooting tips that may help.
If the temperature sensing element is touching the cold coil, located behind the air filter, straighten away from the coil.
Reset to a lower temperature.
The compressor shuts off by changing modes. Wait approximately 3 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode.

Great whole house cooling
