A: Thom, I am not sure what you are looking for. The installation drawing is in the details page of the brickmould. This shows the application. It would be the same for a window.
A: It is always good practice to use pilot holes. This also allows you to use a smaller nail. I know most installers use a 16 penny finish nail. However, I would recommend a smaller nail. 6d finish nail would work great. Less nail to putty over before you paint.
A: No risk of splitting. Using the correct length nail will determine the gauge.
A: The least expensive frames a 36" door and the other frames a 180" long patio door.
A: I believe one is for a single door (not as wide) and the other is for french double (wider) doors.
A: They are not the same size, you will see the header size is not the same in the description. ULPABMF306801 is not as wide (header) as is the ULPABMF606801.
A: Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, Beez. This molding is not available in longer dimensions. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.
A: Yes. It has to be ordered, but you can get in longer piece.
