A: The main reason you would use a 15 amp over a 20 amp would be based on your installed wire size. 15 amp is #14 and 20 amp is #12. Arc fault breakers are designed to not have false trips at all. Thanks for the question.
A: It depends solely on wire size of the circuit. If you have 14AWG installed you must use the 15A per regulation of the National Electric Code.
