We do not recommend using this 20” hood liner for a 29” range since it is smaller it will not provide adequate coverage for your range.

Will Model #UVC7300SLSS fit in a 21"w x 12"d cabinet over a 20" cooktop? There is 2" of filler/space on one side. Specs reflect other sizes, not the 20". What size cut-out and what are the exterior measurements?
Please review pg. 12 of the Installation Instructions, the cabinet depth must be a minimum of 14-3/16” (10-3/16” + 3” in front + 1” in rear), so it cannot be installed in a 12” deep cabinet. Do you have to use the damper? Or can the unit be attached directly to the exhaust ductwork without the damper? What problems might that cause? Thanks
We encourage you to install the range hood as instructed in the Owner's Manual which includes the installation of the damper. Not installing the damper per the written instructions could result in cold outside air, noise, or yard debris flowing back into the kitchen.
Does the liner come with it?
