Asked by ST08 August 14, 2019No, it does not. The space is fairly small. I use cast iron griddle (don't move it around so it won't scratch) and the heat radiates into that area pretty well.
I wanna know if i need to have a specific kind of cook ware or will any work so i dont scratch the surface?
Asked by Angel November 14, 2019They recommend you not use enameled, stoneware or cast iron pots/pans so you don't scratch the cooktop. I've used enameled and cast iron, being careful not to move them around on the cooktop. No problems with scratches so far.
