Hi Jay, we're happy to help. This charcoal filter should not be difficult to install. You can see instructions on how to install it on page 6 of your owner's manual here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/d0/d0b82059-e351-4433-a5c1-8c913995a86d.pdf - The correct charcoal filter to purchase is model JXCF72 and you can see it here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Charcoal-Filter-JXCF72/206832597?NCNI-5 - We hope this is the information you needed! - Guy@GEA
Hi lowceilings, we're more than happy to assist you. Yes, according to page 5 of the installation instructions, you can adjust this range hood to fit your ceiling. For higher ceiling installations up to 10’, you can use the high ceiling duct cover kit for your model. Use JXDC72SS for stainless steel, or JXDC72ES for slate. To reach a 10’ ceiling with the JXDC72 accessory, the bottom of the hood must be a minimum of 36” from the cooktop. Also, it might be useful to know this hood can even be vented through a rear wall. If you have any other questions, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. We're wishing you the best! - Guy@GEA

Hi Marina! Great question! We'd love to look into this for you. We're finding that the light bulb needed for this particular model is GU-10. The part number for this light bulb is WB25X24863. - If you need help changing the bulb, take a look at the following steps: 1. Before attempting to replace the lights, make sure that the light switch is turned off. 2. Using a flathead screwdriver, unclip the wire lighting support and gently pull the support down from the hood. 3. While holding the socket, twist the light counterclockwise to remove. Replace it with a new GU-10 light. Make sure the new light is locked in the socket. 4. Replace the new light and socket into the hood and engage into the light support. We hope that this helps and that you're staying safe! -Michael@GEA
