Yes it will fit.
To a 240 volt pump that does not require a neural, absolutely yes and #10 wire is the correct size. Check with your local inspector to be sure that's acceptable to them. It's a lot easier to do it right the first time.

See photos. The breaker that arrived looked nothing like the one in the picture associated with this question. See my attached photos. I replaced the old breaker on the left with the new one on the right. So if your old breaker looks like the one on the left, then the one on the right should work. I included a photo of the breaker with the packaging.
No, I don't think so. I researched this issue and it seems like GE breakers only fit GE breaker boxes.
