        A:  I could never get it to set up correctly so I don’t use the Wi-Fi. It works well with the remote.

          A:  Hi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE Appliances air conditioner. You do not have to connect the unit to your home WiFi to use the air conditioner.             Q:How do I find out about the warranty? This AC made it 5 months; now will no longer switch off, runs constantly, and has started running/dripping/sputtering water everywhere (yes, it is angled out of the window). Very, very disappointed.

            A:  Hi there - Thanks for reaching out. However, we're sorry to hear about your experience. Warranty information can be found on page 17 of the owner's manual. We'd like to add, when the selector switch is in the Fan Cool position, the fan will run continuously. A continuously running fan provides constant air flow in the area to be cooled, keeping the room at a more comfortable temperature. We suggest resetting the unit by unplugging it for 2 minutes. If this does not resolve this issue, service may be needed. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 so a certified GE Appliances technician can come out to diagnose and repair your unit.               A:  The specs say 52 dBa, which is relatively quiet. As I type this, I have a floor fan and an air purifier running in a small home office space. According the the DBX app on my phone, I am at 52.5 dBa at the moment.

              A:  Hi - we checked the specifications for this unit, and this air conditioner has a low/high sound level of 57/62 dBA.                 Save your money you will be hot!!!
                Save your time and money! We purchased 8 of these unit and the didn’t last 2 months! They just died, we live in Cleveland, Ohio so not extreme heat! We purchased several units so that they wouldn’t have to work so hard! They just stopped working! Called GE run around, Called Home Depot run around. We purchased LG units and they save us! GE left us out of $3k in units! We tried to call warranty and took pictures and took tags off unit as we were told, while non working unit were in place!

                  3 years in still going strong
                  Our bedroom AC is leaking and not acting right so we are considering getting a second one of these guys! It’s been in our large living room 12’ x 20’ for 3 summers now and still works great! While the wifi feature was initially weird to setup after a few updates it works fine and is super convenient to turn on and off while you are away - good for pets and to pre-cool your place while you are on the way home (or if you forget to turn it off!) works well, isn’t crazy loud but does get louder as the fan speed goes up. Definitely does it’s job!

                    good air conditioner terrible Wi-Fi
                    overall the air conditioner is pretty good. however it does not stay connected to Wi-Fi. The app is pretty much a waste of time and money. I would never ever ever again by a GE appliance. they spend more time sending me emails about extended warranties and products on sale. they can't explain to me why it is that their app and Wi-Fi controlled air conditioner doesn't work as expected. You would think they would have tested this thing better; especially the app. their customer service system is a joke. getting a GE Wi-Fi enabled appliance for an extra $150 to $200 for this feature has a sheer waste of money! after the fourth time of having to delete and reinstall this device. Just to get it to connect to Wi-Fi. The best part is there are two Wi-Fi controlled outlets on the same wall that have never had this issue.
                      Doesn't last! Poor materials! This is second unit!
                      This was my 2nd GE A/C. Failed! I purchased & installed on 6/6/21 .I removed 11/14/21. Photos taken that day. Corrosion/rotting @ bottom of the condenser. Washed & stored for winter. Installed 7/1/22. Worked until 8/24/22. No air flow, freezing up! Everything was clean. Leaked refrigerant. Lower part of condenser sits in water and rots out. 7 months of use! 14 months ownership. Same story with the first unit! Poor design and cheap materials. 1 year warranty! Not the GE quality I remember.
                        ICE COLD SUMMER!!!
                        Very… VERY HAPPY with this AC!!! It’s been an extremely hot summer in New Jersey this year and my entire 2nd Floor has been ICE COLD all summer long!!! The Bluetooth feature is PRICELESS!!! We were able to control it while on vacation, OUT OF THE COUNTRY!!!! We HIGHLY recommend this AC!!!!

                            Bought this unit on May the 5 2022 and June 18 2022 it has already quit working. I hardly even used it! Going back to home depot monday.

                                Only 2 years old and replacing
                                Worked great for the first 3 months. Would drain alot of condensation. Was properly installed and started to lose its coldness. Stored in garage on a pallet and covered during winter. Went to install it today and power up unit and it barely blows cold air.
