Awesome AC unit
Very happy with this Air Conditioner. Cooled my room in no time. WiFi allows you to control it from your cell phone, Alexa or Google Home. Energy Saving setting allows you to set the air conditioner to shut on and off by it's self. "AMAZING". saved on my electric bill for sure! Kept my summer, which in Chicago can become extremely hot and humid. I would recommend this cooling system to anyone looking for comfort and dependability. I am pleased! I even recommended this air conditioner to family and friends. The brand name says it all. Please check it out, you won't be sorry.

This turned into a power house for my elderly aunt's NYC apartment. The remote control for the temperature regulation l became one of the hit features. The installer did a good job of making sure that there was little thermal bleed back of the cooling being done.

inexpensive and works
We got two of these and so far are fairly happy. They cool a small room pretty quickly. I guess they're "lightweight," and "quiet," for a window air conditioner. Sounds like a hotel AC. However they let a lot more outside noise into the room (birds, traffic, lawnmowers, etc) than the original closed double-pane window, even with the accordion and foam.
Assembly and installation was easy enough that I did one by myself. (A second pair of hands is recommended to close the window before the AC falls out!)
The 'smart' lets you set a schedule to cool the bedrooms in the evening for example or manually when on your way home, or from downstairs when the kiddo's nap time approaches.
One came with a torn box, a small dent and missing bag of (critical) screws, which was an annoyance. Packaging could be more robust.
Setup with Alexa and Google requires the (free) "SmartHQ," app or skill and this is not mentioned ANYWHERE. The manual just refers to the GE Appliances app, already since renamed Comfort GE Appliances, and that app says nothing about Google or Alexa.
